Understands the concept of Kerchoff laws and how to apply them in solving circuits.

Understanding the function of ammeter and voltmeter.

Understanding the concept behind the Wheatstone bridge

-explains Kirchhoff's first law on the basis of conservation of charge.

-describes Kirchhoff's second law as one form of conservation of energy.

-applies Kirchhoff's laws to electrical networks to solve problems.

-describe the construction of ammeter, voltmeter and ohmmeter.

-uses ammeters and voltmeters correctly and protectively according to the needs.

-solves numerical problems on the conversion of moving coil galvanometer to ammeter and voltmeter.

-Conduct activities to use multimeter correctly according to the appropriate situations.

The discussion is conducted by Channa Hatharasinghe who is a BSc.(Physics) special graduate from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and currently employed as a teaching assistant in the Department of Physics at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Also, he was a former Summer student at CERN in 2019 and also been working as a supportive teacher at LivePhysics for more than 2 years.
